The designer determines what data must be stored and how the data elements interrelate. With this information, they can begin to fit the data to the database model.

The database management system manages the data accordingly. The database designer is responsible for defining the detailed database design, including tables, indexes, views, constraints, triggers, stored procedures, and other database-specific constructs needed to store, retrieve, and delete persistent objects.

The database designer is also liable for characterizing the definite information base plan, including tables, files, imperatives. This information is maintained in the Data Models

From an educational point of view, if you are willing to be a database designer, you will have at minimum, a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field of study.
